The best advice I got as a writer was to think about what you want from social media and go after it. Certainly never use any platform you don't like. It makes sense for me historically and personality wise. It sends Tik Tok right out of there. I might be late in admitting it, but blogging totally kicked it awhile back. Sure there are still a few around and I recall fondly my own blogging days (also the work when you have thousands of visits a day, holy shee-it, the work). For whatever the reason, I seem to have limited words a day and spending them on blogging just fills me with a horrible dread. So I changed this to NEWS, which tends to be when I put anything here anyway. To keep up with me, there's always Twitter or Instagram. Expect lots of Instagram this summer ...

Heyyo, what's kickin', covid crew? This has turned into a busy summer despite no travel. Of course our house is totally redone* like many other houses in America (son #1 works at Home Depot and can attest to the 10x sales). We spent a lot of time at the lake.
